My old apple ID is still on my iphone when I attempt to do updates. How can I change the apple ID on my phone I keep on getting the error message " your apple id or password is incorrect., but I don't know how to change the id??

Just call apple and explain the situation. Just ask the automated voice person to speak with a real person and it will actually transfer you. Apple will fix it. And I personally believe apple has the best customer support in the world. ***UPDATE Disregard that. Just delete the account from your phone and sign back in with your current one. and it should be fine. if that does not work try what i first suggested.
