IOS 7.02 update...feature to close open apps.

I've upgraded my iphone 4S to IOS 7.02. Is there no longer a feature to close all the open apps? You know, where you used to just double-tap, and then you could close all the open ones? I'd appreciate any help! Thanks.

Only a few types of apps actually "run" in the background - audio streaming and navigation in particular. A few other types will run for a short period to complete a task started before closing

Note that in iOS 7 there is a new feature to allow "Background App Refresh" These can be globally or individually disabled to conserve battery:

Settings > General > Background App Refresh >
