I have a I tunes card and I can not redeem it..I need help with this mater

I have reied for days to redeem my I tune card on both of my pc.s....It will not allow me to redeem,I have a I pod nano 6th generation,,how many songs will that I pod hold??I blieve I have 240 songs...please help me thank you
