Pop server "pop.biz.rr.com" not recognized, on iPhone and iPad, when trying to send mail. Problem occurred when iOS 7 upgrade was done last week. Had a previous call on this same problem. I wanted to know if there was an update to this problem. Apple said they cannot speak for problems with TWC servers.

TWC's web site says that the outgoing mail address for all business email addresses is smtp.biz.rr.com. pop.biz.rr.com is the incoming mail server.

Yes, I know the proper settings and the use of a Pop server. The msg "pop server not recognized" is the msg I receive when we try to send. It doesn't make sense to me either but nevertheless... None of the mail settings were changed either before or immediately after the upgrade and were functioning fine. I can receive email but just cannot send.
You said that you are using pop.biz.rr.com for your outgoing mail server. If you are, then according to TWCBC you are not using the correct settings. What are you using for the outgoing mail server setting?
No, I'm using "pop.biz.rr.com" as my incoming. I'm using "smtp.biz.rr.com" as my outgoing server. These are the same settings that were being used successfully before the iOS upgrade was done. The msg "pop server not recognized" is the msg I receive when I try to send.
