Why does my iphone have a bad delay when i type? (iPhone 4 with iOS 7)

I recently updated my phone to the improved iOS 7 and now my 2-3 month old iPhone 4 is slow with a bad delay.... What is happening to it!?!?!😠

iPhone 4, iOS 7.0.2

Delete all apps running in the background memory and then Reset, hold both home and power buttons for about 10 seconds until the iPhone begins to restart itself.

And if that doesn't fix it, Settings/General/Reset - Reset all settings. You won't lose data, but will have to redo any Settings you have changed from the default.
