iTunes doesn't recognize my iPod touch.

my ipod started not to be recognized by itunes. the computer (windows 8) see's it, but the itunes don't, so I can't sync it. What should I do?

iPod touch, iOS 6.1.4, 4 generation

Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7


Run this to help if it identifies the cause

iTunes for Windows: Device Sync Tests

Have you tried on another computer to help determine if you have a computer or iPod problem?
