Those plugins are the older 32bit type plugins and Logic Pro X only accepts the newer 64bit plugins.
IK said they will be releasing a 64bit version of Sampletank 2 in the near future but that's all... No firm dates have been announced.
Luckily Sampletank 2 can access the rest of the other sample sets.... so if they only upgrade ST2 to 64bit then at least you will be able to use the samples from the rest of the plugins you have.
Note: Don't blame Apple for this.. All plugin Devs have had atthe very least, 3 years advance warning to update their plugins to 64bit versions and most have done so. Unfortunely a few, such as IK have not choosen to upgrade all of theirs.. for reasons unknown.
So..
The alternative is to use one of the different ways of running/hosting 32bit plugins in other apps and then using that host to connect to LPX. VEP5 is one method.. Pricey but works great.. and has many iother uses apart from hosting 32bit AU plugins..
At the other end of the spectrum a new app called 32lives can be found here...

Personally Id rather wait until native 64bit versions of plugins are released and thankfully, for me, most of the ones i use, have been updated.... with the exception of IK Miro... which I host in VEP5.

Hi - most interesting reply - maybe this is why I can access my Native Instruments B4-II AU plug in Logic 8, but not in LP-X. This is by common accord, the BEST Hammond software instrument ever, but N.I. in their infinite wisdom have discontinued it, so I guess it will never go 64 bit.
What a shame.
I had spent a lot of time "teaching" the B4 to recogise the faders and buttons on my StudioLogic VMK-88 board for live control - I suppose the only solution now is to teach some of the "almost" acceptable Hammond native instruments supplied with LP-X the same controller messages - "sigh".
Or do all other work in LP-X, my Hammond tracks in L-8, bounce them to .aif then import into LP-X?
Messy but a work around?
Or run LP-X in 32 bit mode - defeating the purpose of buying a newer model?
cheers
Lance

Nope, LP-X is a 64-bit application only.

Yes - I see from a quick cmd+I that no 64/32 bit swapping available.
Thanks anyway.
I have found the MIDI controller stuff and will reconfigure my keyboard accordingly 🙂 for use with the native Hammond internal instruments. They are on a par with the N.I. B4-II plug anyway.
Whoever you are, I love you. I am just a busy working composer who doesn't have time to read up on whatever new features there are in every update. I am rather embarassed to say that I have only ever used VEP5 (and it took me 10 minutes to realise you were talking about Vienna Ensemble Pro 5) with my VSL libraries. Never knew I could use it to load 32bit only instruments. You will probably laugh but I have been using Logic Pro whenever I have needed Sampletron (massive Jon Brion fan, can't live without it). Anyway, thanks again

Hi Sonic Outlaw,
Yes, VEP5 is one of those great applications that has many different uses.... other than the obvious...More so than most users realize to be honest....
Anyhow, glad to help...
...and I totally get the need for Sampletron!!!! 🙂
Cheers...
