I have a problem with my zoomtown email working on my new iphone 4. I got the incomming mail working fine but the outgoing mail only works when I'm on wi-fi. 3G gives me a message that tells me that the server will not relay messages.

That is a settings issue with the SMTP server. I suggest that you check again with your provider and check the settings for your SMTP server.
