Can't sync iPhone (IOS 7) to iTunes 10.6.3 (G4 PowerBook)

I have an iPhone 4 which I upgraded to IOS 7 a couple of days ago. My computer is a G4 PowerBook running OSX 10.5.8, which won't upgrade past iTunes 10.6.3 so I upgraded to IOS 7 directly on the phone. It turns out that wasn't too smart. I discovered today that I can't sync my iPhone to my computer now and that I also can't downgrade my iPhone back to IOS 6.1.3 anymore. So, it seems that since I can't downgrade my IOS or upgrade my iTunes I can't sync my iPhone anymore. No music, pictures, contacts, calendar, etc. Is there any way to solve this problem without buying a new computer?

I'm in the same boat... lost the ability to tranfer music from my PPC PowerBook to my iphone and ipad or back up either device to the computer. I run Ubuntu on my newest computer and there are no iTunes options on that platform.

I don't think I would be half as frustrated about this if Apple would have issued a statement about this before hand or offered the ability to restore back to ios6. If Apple was truly innovative, they would be working on how to make planned obsolence obsolete.

I, too, am stuck in this situation. What a revoltin' development! Dedicated Apple/Mac user that has a Powerbook G4 that still runs great but am unable to upgrade due to lack of funds and tough times. Guess I have to try and find someone that has an "old" Intel Mac that they don't use anymore that can sell it to me for Garage Sale price.
