i pod Classic gives no response to i tunes. Done formatting, resetting etc.

My i pod classic 160 GB has stopped functioning all of a sudden. I tried resetting, formatting and even re installed i tunes but no use. The device seems all fine but i tunes is not able to detect it.i tunes doesn't give any response if i when i try to connect the i pod.

Otherwise the i tunes seems to be working fine.

This what I got when i ran the diagnostics check for Hard Drive:

Temp Current: 33c

Temp Min: 14c

Temp max:56 c

Can anypne please help me how to get out of this issue?

Since I have formatted the drive,I have no songs and I donot want to buy a new one.
