Trouble synching error code -69

For about 2 weeks now I am trying to synch my ipod with Windows 7. I have never had any issues until one day I kept getting error codes.

I have about 18,000 songs and while I am synching, it freezes and then does not allow synching. It keeps giving me error codes -50 and -69. I will restore my ipod and then try again to the same issue, freezing.

I have tried a different USB cable and port, running antivirus in safe mode and malware programs with no issues.

WHat should I do now? Is it time to invest in another ipod? I currently have iPod Classic 160gb.

Hey zhurley,

I found two articles that might help you troubleshoot the issue. The first is for that -69 error:

iTunes displays a -69 error when syncing iPod

And this next one is for error -50, but its for Windows XP; however, the troubleshooting steps might still apply:

iTunes displays -50 error message when syncing iPod on Windows XP
