Ios7 problems, safari crashes

This new iOS 7 has ruined the whole ipad experience for me. I use this as a browser, email tool and music library. The browser randomly crashes on a very frequent bases, some times a page opens and other times the same page crashes safari and I have to relaunch. The browser seems sluggish I feel like I just took a giant step backwards. Email is clunky and slow to respond, requires multiple touches to change folders. Music sound terrible, has hangs in sound and generally sounds glitchy. Not at all enjoyable.

I wish I had just kept dismissing the pop up asking me to update.

If you asked me a week ago about the ipad I would have told you it was great. If it was lost or stolen I would run out that day and buy a replacement. Ask me now and I would say good riddance.

Apple really blew it on this one, they took an excellent product and turned it into a frustrating pile of hardware. If ios7 was not intended for the ipad 2 why are their servers pushing it out to devices that they should not.

I have searched and found that I am not alone in these problems but have not seen any solutions.

I have been using an ipad since they first came out and still have my first ipad. The most iritating thing about the ipad experiance is the safari crashes. I was just about to upgrade to the air because I thought they would have solved the problem by now. Guess I'll wait awhile.

It didn't crash my iPad Air with 7.1.

That page won't crash my iPad Air on 7.1. My Air has been very stable since going to 7.1.

Works fine on my 7.1 iPad Air. Have not seen Safari crash nor any reboots since 7.1.

Same here... tried the page 6 times on my iPad Air with 7.1. No crashes.

My iPad Air does not crash as much as before since I've updated to iOS 7.1. It still crashes more than my HTC One phone though.

I am seeing substantially improved Safari stability on iPad Air under iOS 7.1, although I do experience occasionaly crashes (much, much less frequently than in iOS 7.0).

I have not experienced a single Safari OR iOS crash since updating to 7.1. I have 15 tabs open in Safari, and 15-20 apps in my tray at all times. Safari still seems to be slowing down, and kind of lazy after severe use, but no crashes at all.

This seems like a very significant improvement/fix, and I am still confused by the guy that popped in here a few times and absolutely swore the issue couldn't be fixed. The guy with multiple years of programming experience that stated, absolutely, the issue couldn't be repaired, but look, the issue seems to have been repaired. And it will probably get better with future 7.1 iterations.

After almost a week after updating my iPad Air to 7.1, Im still at 2 crashes (vs 5-6 crashes each day before the update). I expected a few crashes over the weekend due to heavier use in weekends, but no, it held up very nicely 🙂
