Q: 5c bluetooth not discovering any devices

Just purchased a iphone 5c. My current bluetooth device was working fine on my old ipone 4. Even up to the moment of activating my new phone. My current ipone 5c would not discover my bluetooth nor any other bluetooth devices in the store.
