Corrupted Podcasts on iPhone 4S

Device: iPhone 4S

s/w version: ios 7

I upgraded iPhone 4S to the latest version of IOS 7. Downloaded via iTunes on iMac the latest podcasts. Syncronized the podcasts with iPhone. Some podcasts are getting corrupted with an error message saying that the audio cannot be played.

The same thing happened with an audiobook that I purchased via iTunes.

Re-downloading the audiobook or a podcast via IOS 7 directlry from iTunes store fixes the problem. However, right after re-syncing with the iTunes, the audio is corrupted again. The audio plays fine in iTunes on iMac.

Did anyone run into this problem? Any suggestions on how to resove the issue?
