Apple, tmobile, tmobile store clerks, unbelievable! Tmobile keeps saying I have to buy a new simcard

Why do you want to activate the sim card from Apple if you already have service.

Just use the sim card you have service on.

If its not a Nano sized sim card, then you would need to have T-Mobile, if that is your carrier, exchange it for a Nano sim card that can fit in the phone with your service attached.

As to why T-Mobile is not activating Apple provided sim cards, that could very well be down to the T-Mobile guy not knowing they can.

I would find it extremely unlikely that Apple would have iPhones with sim cards that could not be activated.

Nope, I understand the question. Why T-mobile does not want to activate it I do not know.

But you can tell therm you want to get service with them and they should give you a different sim card with the service.

Alternatively leave T-Mobile alone and just go and get service with any other Carrier.

Since its a T-Mobile iPhone its unlocked and can work with any carrier.

Thanks, but I am determined to get to the bottom of this. what tmobile and apple do is not right at all. There is no doubt in my mind that there is an agreement between these two companies regarding the sale of tmobile simcards by apple. There is no way apple would agree to carry inventory of useless SIM cards. I have no idea why tmobile nor apple cannot provide me with the right response as to what is going on here.

Which then begs the question, why is Apple including sim cards that can't be activated?

One would think an arrangement between T-Mobile and Apple would exist to provide those cards and a such T-Mobile should be willing to activate them if they are given specifically to Apple by them.

Another thing that comes to mind, is that maybe only T-Mobile USA can activate these sim cards in iPhones as only U.S.A bought phones would come with these cards. If Cracpol1980 is trying to get the sim card activated in another country, it may not be possible to do so.
