error: some files could nto be created?

anyone has any idea why i cant install itunes on my computer? i tried the itunes cd and itunes from itunes.com and everytime i try to install it, i get an error:

ERROR: some files could not be created. Please close all applications, reboot windows and restart this installation.

i tried rebooting and same error message.

AMD 2200, Windows XP Pro

Are you signed onto windows with an administrator user ID?

i managed to get it to work. i had to remove the domain policy and remove the old isscript.
