Had to reset now fonts are too small to see?

I had to reset my 4S with IOS 7 because keyboard was not popping up for contact search. Now all the fonts for text and emails are too small to see and I cant enlarge.... even when going to settings> general> text size and increasing to the max, nothing is any bigger.

With all the problems with IOS 7, one of the things they did right was larger fonts for us older folks!!

Please help.
