Logic Pro X - Imported audio sounds worse

I'm making a long suite, so to save my processor some grief I've worked on it in movements, one at a time as separate projects and bouncing them down into audio files so that I can combine them all into one in another project. I always listen to each audio file in iTunes to double check for any errors when I'm not working on the next part. When it came time to put them all together though, the imported audio files sound atrocious compared to the audio files when played in iTunes.

Is there a way to fix this degradation?

Well, this is a new one. Usually the complaint goes the opposite way - the audio sounds bad in iTunes (due to iTunes 'sound enhancements' and EQ's and such).

As far as sounding atrocious and degraded, did you hire Raymond without checking his references?

Try to describe what is wrong with the audio, and also add as many details as you can about what (and how) you are exporting, importing, etc.
