Jul 11, 2015 3:23 PM in response to Dreanmachine1by applewarm,Deleting and rescanning prints will not solve the problem, not forever at least. In my case it was like that... I've had this with my 6+ and the only thing that permanently solved was restoring to factory settings first, then recovering from the latest backup. Backup on iTunes, not iCloud. So make sure to do a fresh backup stored on the computer, because it won't let you choose the iCloud one when you recover. Never had a Touch ID problem ever again, use several scans and they all always work. I mean unless it's me being inaccurate, having dirty fingers and such!

Jul 11, 2015 5:14 PM in response to applewarmby DESPERADO1990,I did backup and restore using latest version of iTunes but that didn't help at all.
Also I did reset(Erase all content and settings) on the phone and nothing changes.
I think there is software problem again like it was with iphone 5s and iOS 7.1 but
I am not sure 100%.

Jul 13, 2015 3:40 AM in response to Dreanmachine1by IndividualTwin,I have an iPhone 6 and have had constant problems with the Touch ID. When its on it works fine but quite often it wont even recognise that a finger (or thumb) is on the sensor. When I unlock with the code and go to settings I find that the Touch ID has switched itself off in settings and when I try to swipe it back on again it gives the message "Touch ID failed".
Any ideas?!

I just replaced my iPhone 6 and Touch ID is now working flawlessly with iOS 8.4.
Replace those faulty phones people if you still have warranty or AppleCare+.
