I have two issues which are probably linked re iBooks.

Firstly, iBook on my iPad (vers 7.0.2) downloads multiple copies (8) of a number of books even after I deleted the copies. Secondly, the books tagged "new" cannot be opened. I turned off Books "automatic downloads" under iTunes & Apps Store but it still downloads the copies.
