Oct 2, 2013 3:31 AM in response to Apfelwurmby KAP7,This didnt solve my problem. I tried again using my laptop with latest update from itunes turned of firwall and security. Still get the same message with same error code. Have ipad less than 24 hours and I am totally fed up.
Spent all yesterday afternoon with tech guys and not solved.

You can also try these instructions, some in-depth technical knowledge may be required here:

Also check that those ports are open, which are required by Apple products:
http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1629
It is also possible that your Internet provider closes certain required ports.
Check with them, whether this is the cause of your problems.
Again, make sure that the firewall and anti-virus software are off for your installation.
Reactivate them after the installation!
