Aug 8, 2014 1:44 PM in response to Naumanby kaika111,Works with songs too - close iTunes, go to MUSIC, find the song - you should have little cloud next to it - click twice and it should download - worked like a charm :-P

Aug 11, 2014 8:29 PM in response to Naumanby samjeanhill,I had a couple songs that had download errors, every time I tapped on it to retry, other people's/friend's apple id's came up asking for their password. I deleted their ids, put in my own apple id and password for each prompt, and the songs were able to download, and fixed the random popping up asking for random id's. Just try replacing them with your apple id and password and see if it works for you too.

Jun 1, 2015 5:18 PM in response to maclover_itby levous,I had 5 movies stuck in iTunes downloads. 4 said "processing", 1 said "waiting". None would respond to any touch or make any progress. I logged completely out of iTunes and iCloud and restarted but they remained. I finally found that I could locate the movie or TV show down in the Videos app and delete it there. Being logged out of iTunes and iCloud, I expected that much of the video content would not be there. However, hundreds of TV shows remained in the list view. I am now going through and deleting them 1 episode at a tim. UGH!
This is obviously a bug. The iPad is incredibly slow now. I haven't used it for many updates (it's the wife's). There is no way to delete an entire season. This *****! If I delete from the bottom, the apps disappear although not with any smooth animation. It looks very Android like. If I delete from the top, the episode is replaced with a table cell that says "Episode 0 - 0 secs". If my swipe registers as a tap (because the stupid thing is running so badly), the episode tries to play and then reports "The operation couldn't be completed. (MPAVCOntrollerErrorDomain error 3)
It's just like using Windows in 1999!
Good times...

Jun 2, 2015 12:27 PM in response to maclover_itby southerl,I had this issue too. Finally fixed mine today.... On the iPad, go to the iTunes store and find the exact movie/show/song you tried to download that failed (mine was part of a deluxe package, and I had to find it within that package in the store). Click on the icon that you would normally use to purchase the item. That should clear it out of your download queue.
I had two movies stuck in the download queue and had to repeat the process for each one. Hope this helps!

Jul 8, 2015 1:57 PM in response to t.neumannby crcozen,I have songs stuck in iTunes download on my iPhone 5S, and as they were purchased with another person's apple ID, I cannot download them and am continuously prompted for the apple ID passwords (which I don't know). How do I delete these downloads?

Feb 12, 2016 6:32 AM in response to southerlby Paisinho,Thanks, this worked. I had three stuck films, two rentals, and one purchase. Finding the exact same films in the store and clicking download on the rental films took the fims out of my download list in a second, the third film had (the purchase) had the cloud and this launched the download again on a film I had already paid for but never watched because it was stuck. My download page is now clean.
This was a good tip!
