Close Open Apps on iOs 7.0.2

I recently upgraded iOS from 6.1.3 to 7.02 on iPhone 4. Some of the features on the previous OS is not avaiable on the new version.

1. How do I close all open Apps ? Earlier I could double tap on Home Button and close all the Apps. That feature is no more there in the new version.

2. From the home page, swiping to right would allow to search contacts with the keyboard, Now the right swipe is disabled.

to close apps, double tao home and swpe up

spotlight search, from anywhere on the screen (except the very top) swipe down

You close open apps (after a double-click of the home button), by swiping them upward, as if to push them off the top of the screen.
