Problem with magnifying glass on iCal Note since iOS 7 update

Has anyone else noticed that when you try to use the magnifying glass on the Note section of an iCal event (iPhone 4S and iPad 2 Wi-Fi) that it doesn't track properly? Prior to iOS 7 if you wanted to edit text lines in the Note section of an iCal event, you could just tap at the end of the line, and the cursor would appear at the end of the text for that line. Doesn't work since update. Also, when using the magnifying glass to drag the cursor around there is no telling where the cursor will end up. Sometimes, but not often, it may go where you pointed, but usually it goes elsewhere. I've tested this on several apps, Messaging, Email, Notes, etc., and the problem does not appear on any of those.
