Mac OS X Unexpectidly quits

I have a new Black Mac Book 2.0Ghz with no upgrades. This week so far I have received on 5 occasions a Mac OS X has unexpectidly quit message. Any ideas on the cause and fix. Thanks

~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter

… directory (~ stands for your Home directory if you don't know) to see if there is a crash report for the Finder.
