Clicking (feed back sound) when recording. Help!

I have been recording using garageband and a yeti blue microphone. The mic plugs directly into my USB. I am recording real instruments. It has been working great until this week. Lately I hear a random clicking noise throughout the recording. The metronome is turned off and feedback protection is on. Even when I record with the "monitor off", I still hear clicks when I listen to what I have just recorded. Also, in prefences, the input and output audio is set to my yeti mic. My head phones are pugged into my mic. Any suggestions to stop the clikcing sound?
