iBook with lots of video

I have a book with lots of video - more than the 2GB limit allowed in an iBook. Is it possible to store the video elsewhere so I can include links in my book to the videos? The vids need to be protected so they can't just be hosted by youtube - and I would prefer it if my readers don't have to enter a password to view the video.
