Q: Moving content to a new Apple ID?

Most of my music library is on the Cloud.  I purchased the music/content.  I would like to move most all of it to a separate Apple ID account so that it is not linked to the same account that my kids devices, etc. are on?  Basically, I'd like to end up with a family account and a personal account. How can I move the content that I purchased to a new Apple ID?

I agree also - this is beyond lame and totally unacceptable.

When the whole Apple ID system started there was no such notion as 1 ID, 1 Account etc. So if I live at home with my wife and family, and I have a stereo with my music library are my family members not able to use them? If we were to separate would I note take MY CD's with me.  Also I have 4 Imac's at home - several for my children. What should I do - set up an apple ID for each of them as well? Come on guys - this is BS.

Over time Apple has changed it's mode of operation and device sharing concepts - such as the cloud etc, resulting in any level of privacy been seriously compromised based on using the 1 ID.

Apple needs to get their SH&T together on this.

We've been lead down a path and now apple is presenting us with the wolves to further profit from the transition of their own OS design.
