iOS7 - Too Much Animation!

All the zooming in and out between screens in iOS7 on the iPhone:
(a) wastes my time;

(b) is annoying now that the novelty has worn off;

(c) wastes GPU cycles and battery life;

(d) reduces productivity - I can't just pop in and out of my iPhone, I have to watch the show every step of the way;

(e) demands more attention from me as I try to follow what is going on;

(f) is dizzying to some; and

(g) adds no real value.

And it comes from everywhere - from the side, from the bottom, from the edges into the centre, from the centre to the edges... - It's everywhere!!

We need a way to turn this "feature" off, or enable "quick animation" of some sort. It is gimmicky and childish and needs to go!
