Oct 2, 2013 9:29 PM in response to leooo0820by schuang74,Yeah I have the same problem. Sound from media seems to cut out at times. The funny thing is while thee is no sound for music or movies, the Apple TV navigation sounds are loud and clear. In order to get my sound back, I have to restart the Apple TV box. One sound is working again I can't switch media too much or else the sound quits on me again... And then another restart. Wow this last update has som serious problems.

Oct 3, 2013 8:24 AM in response to leooo0820by Rudegar,if people turn on surround in the settings
and just connect stereo speakers they are fine until the first time they play
media which really support surround because then their stereo speakers act
the front left and right role and most audio in movies like talk and the likes
play out of the center speaker which in that case will be absent
check it's set to stereo in settings of the appletv

Oct 3, 2013 11:00 AM in response to leooo0820by schuang74,Actually no, thats not the problem I have. The sound plays fine after a restart, however if I switch media, or jump out of a movie and then jump back into the same movie, sound all of a sudden is gone. Once the sound is gone... its gone for all media and won't come back until after I restart the Apple TV. Through all of this however the Apple TV navigation sound FX are all fine. When I play music and movies, you see the progress bar moving on screen for music and you see video play, but you don't hear anything. Wasn't like this prior to the last update.
