I am having the same issue with 4S. I have contacted Mophie and they cannot answer. I read in another blog that Apple has a setting to discourge being charged by un-authorized chargers, but if the store sells Mophie, than that doesn't make sense. I only get 20% more phone use with a full Mophie charge since upgrading to the new IOS7....I really would love to get some comment from Apple?

I went that route and the juice pack is only under warranty for one year and mine was new with the iPhone 4S, so it's out of warranty. Just seems coincidental that it stopped working the way it has since it was new the same day I upgraded to iOS7 and iOS7.2 I was told there's no software inside the juice pack, but I have seen many threads the past few days on different forums by people who are experiencing the same issues? So coincidence, or bug that hasn't been figured out yet???? Still wondering...

I also have had a similar experience. Its not a Mophie but it a similar cheap external battery that allows me to use my iPhone for longer periods without needing a recharge. It seems that now after I have upgraded my Apple iPhone operating system to 7.0.2 and when ever I plug in the battery it tells me that "This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPhone". and it does not charge the phone.

Thanks Apple, I think this sort of behaviour is disgusting and they have lost another follower because of these underhanded tactics. I have been an avid follower of the Apple products and still believe they make great and innovative products but I have had enough of it and from now on I will be looking at other platforms. Oh look Android and have a similar system but they don't keep holding there customers to ransom and in fact they have all the same features and even a few better ones.

Very Annoyed.

I have a hard time believing this is a defect in the Mophie since it was working perfectly fine right up to the point of my downloading iOS7. Immediately after that, the Mophie no longer charged the phone. The Mophie lights all light up, shows it's functioning itself but it won't charge the iPhone. The phone doesn't even recognize the Mophie when I flip the switch on the Mophie. I also find it hard to believe it's a defect in the Mophie because similarly the minute I downloaded iOS7 on my iPad the bluetooth keyboard isn't recognized by the iPad. It's all WAY too coincidental and HIGHLY irritating.

gdgmacguy is correct. It is likely an unfortunate coincidence that the product happened to stop working around the time that the new iOS was released. At this point we have a very large number of products out on the market that are still performing optimally.

We do, however, apologize for the inconvenience of the product being defective and recommend contacting us at www.mophie.com/TS to pursue an exchange under warranty.

I have the 5 but have not upgraded to IOS 7, and my new Mophie won't charge any more either. Weird. So, at least for me, it's not about IOS 7. It's just that the Mophie product won't charge anymore. The phone sometimes give me a message saying it won't support it, but mostly, it's just dead, says nothing and I have given up. Darn it! It worked great for about 3 months. Now zip!

I agree with cagatorgirl and jladuke. When both my husband and I use our mophie juice pack air cases with our iPhone 5, we get similar problems. His will pop up the "charging not supported" message, but if he flips the switch off and on again, it works fine...and he has no problems charging his phone in the case at night.

I have to babysit mine a lot more. It pops up the message, so I do the flip switch thing and it charges for anywhere from 1 minute to 1 hour on its own, then the "charging not supported" message pops up again so I have to lather rinse repeat to get it to charge properly. Mine will charge the case at night, and sometimes my phone but not usually both. I can wake up in the morning and my phone battery is anywhere between 50-85% charged but never 100% as it was previously to the iOS upgrade.

Both of our cases are mophie juice pack air "made for iPhone 5" which it specifies right on the case. Both are less than 3 months old. Both worked PERFECTLY before the iOS upgrade and as soon as we upgade to the new iOS, bam, all these issues. It HAS to be an Apple iOS issue.

Similarly, my co-worker and her son both are having the same problems. So unless Mophie is saying they sent out a bunch of bad cases with bad connectors all across the country, it has to be Apple.

i have same probelm. after i upgraded the recharging started to be odd and phone would turn itself off when plugged into mophie. then the mophie stopped recharging the phone completlely.

if there is new software in the ios7 that is trying to identify approved power sources then it is not a big stretch of the imaguuation to think there could be some bug for some people. so i disagree that everyone would have a problem if it is a ios issue. luckily my mophie is under warranty and i will see if a replacement does the job.
