Q: Unwanted apps in purchase history

How can I remove unwanted apps from my ipad purchase history. I have loads of apps i've tried and rejected but they still show up in purchase history.

    Regardless, this does not work.

    I'll repeat that: this (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919) does not work.

    I work with a number of app developers and have downloaded dozens of apps in the last couple of years. Now, in iOS7, there is no way to hide previous purchases. Let me walk you through how it doesn't work:

    • I log into iTunes;
    • I go to the store and click on Account;
    • Under iTunes in the Cloud I click on the small Manage link next to Hidden Purchases;
    • I click on Apps and lo and behold! All of my hidden apps by the dozen. So many hidden apps;
    • I connect and resync my iPhone, just to be sure;
    • Boom! All of my purchase history... is still entirely visible and not hidden at all.

    I don't understand why this is even a thing if it doesn't do what it's supposed to. "Hide your apps? Sure! Oh wait, you meant, hide them like... so they can't be seen? Well I don't know what kind of crazy definition of "hide" you subscribe to, sir, but that's not how it works here at Apple."

    Guess what? In iTunes 12.2, it works, sort of. In the kb article it says to: "Move your cursor on top of the item you want to hide. An X appears in its upper-left corner." What you HAVE to do is just move your cursor to the upper-left corner of the app's icon, and click. The app disappears. No X ever appears. You can unhide the app as usual if you want.
