Macbook Pro Retina, Edifier 5.1 (DA 5000 Pro) Compatibility

Hi! I have a Mid 2012 15" Retina MBP. I am planning to buy a 5.1 speaker set from Edifier (DA 5000 Pro). I wanted to know if i need any additional hardware like a soundcard or amp so that it works flawlessly with my notebook. Thanks for the help in advance!
