I use to use Entourage for email, but I decided to start using Apple's built in "Mail" app. where as with Entourage, I knew exactly where my contact list was located, I don't have the slightest idea where it is in Mail! Can someone help me out here?

It is atrocious that, in 2017, you still can not double-click on a contact in Apple Mail and have it directly open and take you to that contact in Apple Contacts. Entourage did it in 2004.
Mail allows you to ADD a contact to Contacts, but apparently doesn't let you FIND a contact in Contacts.

Apple tried to pride themselves on their software, but they have been going downhill for years!

As usual, Apple doesn't really want feedback.
Contacts are to be found in the "Contacts" application, in your Applications folder.
Mail also keeps a list of "Previous Recipients", which you can get at via "Previous Reicipients" in the Window menu.
Or are you asking for the paths to the actual files which supply these data?
