Q: I accidentally erased my phone from Find my Iphone App and I have a sim lock on my phone - now it wont let me restore. any ideas?

I accidentally erased my phone while using the Find my Iphone app. Now im trying to unlock it as my phone is also sim locked but this is the message that comnes up :

"Your iphone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Try connecting Your iPhone to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a couple of minutes."

Its displayed this message all morning now. When I try connect to iTunes it tells me my phone is sim locked and i need to unlock it before I can access iTunes. What do I do???
