I only have 4 authorized devices, yet it is not allowing me to authorize another device; why?

I only have 4 authorized devices, yet it is not allowing me to authorize another device; why?

I have checked on my account and have only 4 devices, and have tried multiple times to authorize the computer. I have also ensured i have the most update to date version of itunes and reinstalled the version again
