Brother HL-2030 prints blank pages by itself

Hi,

My Brother HL-2030 laser works fine when asked to print anything but I'm annoyed that it also prints when not asked. Sometimes it prints the blank pages after boot sequence is complete, sometimes after waking from sleep and sometimes.... at any given time.

Any ideas?

iMac G5 Rev. B 2GHz, Mac OS X (10.4.6), AP Express

I have a similar issue when my Epson CX4200 is connected through my Airport Express. When the printer is turned on (and off) it will print a blank page. It will also usually print a blank page when I submit my first print job as well, but then is usually fine - until I turn it off.

A call to Epson suggested that the Airport Express is somehow sending a signal to the printer, but I wish there were a way to correct it. It's not a huge deal, but still an annoyance.

Your Epson printer may not be fully compatible with AirPort base stations. Check out the following iFelix site that lists the current AirPort compatible USB printers.
