Oct 5, 2013 9:00 AM in response to Jamiedeee1234by Mark3186,I am having the same problem. I just begrudingly paid silly money for the HDMI adaptor so i could plug my iPhone 4 into my TV and watch Netflix. It had been fine for until the recent update(S) but now i am also told i have to disable airplay mirroring. However, there's no such thing/option.

50 minutes agoNetflix JeremyOk so this is actually a known issue with the iOS7 update, surprise apple screwed something up with an update, go figure right? Anyways so right now it's actually a known issue and we're working with apple 24/7 till we fix up the app to work with the new iOS.
49 minutes agoNetflix JeremySo it will work shortly (usually these fixes don't take long) just a short waiting game because of the apple iOS7 update.
49 minutes agoNetflix JeremyI actually contacted my development team to check in with them and there isn't a release date on the patch that will fix that but it shouldn't be long.
48 minutes agoNetflix JeremyWe're actually working on modifying our app so that it will work around apple's latest updates' changes.

Oct 10, 2013 5:25 AM in response to deggieby SiobhanSea,Hi Netflix users - my problem was solved! I contacted Apple support and went through as an i07 upgrade issue. They took me through this process but you may be comfortable doing it yourself: NB: I am only suggesting a solution is possible for some and my advice is unqualified!!!
First, before anything, back up your iPad to a computer via iTunes, using your USB cable
Make sure you have updated to the latest iTunes version (I think it was 11.1.1 that I did today)
Then in iTunes on your computer, you click on the apple at the top and then click 'restore iPad' button and follow the instructions which are fairly obvious but if you are unsure, make the request to Apple support to help you.
NB ensure you request restore Back up version not factory settings although I did notice that during the process it said it was restoring Factory Settings but it then continued on to restore from back up - phew
I spoke to two very patient and helpful people from Apple Support and was advised that it could possibly be that my non apple tv was not compatible with i07 - so be aware that if your tv is slightly older this could be the cause. In which case, neither your tv, Netflix nor Apple are responsible - it's a consequence of progress!
Good luck!

Oct 10, 2013 11:33 PM in response to Mark3186by SiobhanSea,What a pity Netflix not only didn't tell me that, they said it was Apple 's issue because I wasn't using an Apple TV or Airplay! The main thing is, it's sorted
