since I upgrade to 7.0.2 the HDMI output not working not video
iPad 2, iOS 7.0.2
I have witnessed this same problem after updating to 7.0.2.
The adaptor, HDMI cable, and other software all work completely fine and worked until the update.
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
