2 GB OCZ memory for macbook---Is it worth it?

I am thinking of buying 2 x 1 GB OCZ notebook memory. Below are the specs. The guy at the apple store suggested that I buy Crucial. Given the fact OCZ is cheaper, do you think I should buy OCZ or Crucial? Is there any difference between the two? Would there be any kernel panic as suggested by the guy at the apple store? Also, if I were to wait until Nov. do you think the prices will drop even more?

I purchased this memory from Newegg

The price is a bit higher but the majority of reviews are from MacBook users. It is working fine for me. I think the memory you have selected should also work well, it seems the intel macs are not so picky regarding memory as the older ibooks and powerbooks are. I don't see many posts regarding problems with memory. One thing for sure adding 2gb of memory is a huge improvement over the stock 512 and you will see a real boost with all applications.

You will be fine with that memory, and do not need to buy Crucial. Any less that $200 for 2 gigs is a good deal. I purchased mine at macmall.com. There is a huge spead difference with that much RAM--applications open much faster, etc. Well worth the investment.

Its never wise to wait for RAM. Its like the stock market, and fluctuates all the time. It could double in 3 months, and it seems that RAM is "low" now. Plus, you get several more months of 2 gigs of RAM. Hope this helps.
