Previously when on a call, I could press the home button and then when selecting the phone icon, this would show my call and contact list.
When trying this with IOS 7, selecting the phone icon takes me back to the call.

Q: Why can you no longer view your call list when talking on the iphone?
I though was always been like this. While you are in a call you have a menu with options like "Contacts" (to see your contacts) or "Add Call" (to see recents call, favorites et.).
