Different Coloring of pictures

Hello everyone,

recently I created a photo book on iPhoto with photos I had made with the "Sepia" effect, and the coloring turned out a lot differently in the book than they looked on the screen. Is it normal that the pictures turned out much darker?

What is normal is that screen displays are Lights adn prints are ink - so unless you spend a lot of money adn have special calbriation equiptment they will not be the same - if you are using default calbriation on yur scren they shuld be close but not necessarly the same -- teh two are simply different, have different color space that they can display
