Cell borders of a page expands to another page

I know that the title of my question isn't very good but I'll try to explain my problem ok!

I have some spreadsheets that I import form excel, and they are of the exactly size of a Letter page ok!

But I have a border in the external cells of this document, and when I print it the borders appears on the right side and bottom of the current page so numbers ask me to print not 1 but 3 pages.

I know that if I choose to print only the first page it will work, but sometimes I forget and it prints 3 pages that's a big waste of paper.

Does somebody knows how to fix or adjust this numbers behavior

Fneto,

There are several ways to approach this problem, probably the most directly of which is to adjust the Margins of your Page. This is the way to go if you are close to fitting the page and need just a bit more space. The Margin controls are in the Sheet Inspector. Reducting the margin settings perhaps a quarter inch all around may be all you need.

Another, slightly fussier way to fit the page is to reduce the size of your content, not by zooming, but by actually making it a smaller composition. Narrower columns, shorter rows. That way you will have a true gauge of the sizes and how they will hit the paper without having to back out the zoom factor from the sizes shown in the Table Inspector.

Finally, in the category of easy to do, but just a couple of extra steps, is to Share, Export, PDF, Sheet View. Then Open this PDF in Preview and Print with Fit to Page selected. This is much less finicky than playing with a zoom control.

Jerry

Set your right and botom margins to a smaller value, using the Layout Inspector.

If your bottom margin is already set to the minimum your printer will accept, reduce the top margin instead.

If not using headers or footers, set both to 0.

EDIT: Hmm.. ran into a gitch here. I must have loaded the page well before replying! I see my answer is a repeat of what's been said already.
