Oct 25, 2013 8:46 AM in response to mtnflyguyby jcetheredge,I am having a similar problem using itunes radio on apple TV. 2 or 3 songs into a station, playback just ends. Almost like it's paused. I wait and wait and it doesn't start back up again. The only way to keep listening to itunes radio is to change stations, and then the cycle starts over again with it just stopping 2 or 3 songs in. What is the problem?

Oct 26, 2013 9:14 AM in response to mtnflyguyby GTMinistry,Confirming the problem here too... Just waiting for an explanation. Released over a month ago, could it still be the same ol' "newness" excuses? Looking forward to a solution soon! Sticking with the reliable Internet Radio!

Oct 27, 2013 8:18 AM in response to mtnflyguyby hapfromaround,Same here. I'll listen to two songs, and then it'll start buffering and i have to choose another radio to listen to and switch back for it to start working again. It only started doing it after I got the update. Before that, it was fine. But it's really annoying.

Oct 27, 2013 5:38 PM in response to mtnflyguyby MrAustin,I'm having the same issue as well. Looking at the iTunes "playing now" view in the window shows the infinite progress bar animation but nothing happens. A temporary fix seems to be hitting the Store menu's Sign Out option and then signing back in directly afterward. This will let it start playing again until it so chooses to stop.
Overall I like the iTunes radio experience but it has been buggy. There is a relationship with Safari in that if you do a reset to wipe out history and cookies, it affects iTunes which will then start asking you to sign in again. As a developer I do a reset on Safari to ensure I have a clean view of a site I'm developing so this can be frustrating. The last time I got it iTunes Radio working it was fine for a long time until I had to reset Safari and now it's having radio playback issues.

Nov 5, 2013 9:49 PM in response to mtnflyguyby bbpjunk,Same issue here. It plays properly on my iPhone and iPad but won't play on my iMac for more than 2-3 songs.

Nov 11, 2013 8:29 AM in response to mtnflyguyby devkjb,I was having the same issue on my iPhone 4S. What worked for me...went to Settings, iTunes & App Store, clicked on my Apple ID, then Sign Out; went to Music app, Radio and logged back in again when prompted. Been listening for 3 hours so far with no problems. A lot better than listening to just 1 song before cutting out. Good luck!!!

At the least show the courtesy of acknowledging the issue, particularly if you are keen on charging so much for your music service!

Apple TVThis is a user to user support community. Apple don't participate directly except perhaps for the Community Specialists who post the occasional link to existing support documents. I doubt the recent posts have anything to do with the original issue. Better to start your own thread rather than tack on to one that is dormant and quite possibly unrelated. If you don't get a response in a day or so it is likely that it simply hasn't been seen by anyone who has anything useful to suggest, in which case try bumping the thread, perhaps at a different time of day so it is seen be a different set of active helpers.
