Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
For more information on this, take a look at:

- Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and on. If your W-Fi setting is dimmed, follow these steps.
- Restart your iOS device.
- Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and locate the Wi-Fi network to which you're connected.
- Tap
and Forget this Network. - Try to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
Note: You may need to enter your Wi-Fi password again if your network requires one. - Turn your Wi-Fi router off and on2.
- Update your device to the latest version of software.
- Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware2. For AirPort Base Stations, install updates using the AirPort Utility.
Best of luck,
Mario

Oct 6, 2013 12:04 PM in response to mario49by jh1,Hey - I'm having the same problems, but the WIFI problem is affecting all online services on the iPad.
All my other iOS devices are not having any issues.
Didn't have any problems with IOS 6.3 - then upgraded to iOS7 and now the iPad2 has been rendered useless.
Help!

I appreciate that you might not be an Apple employee, however, would you be able to find out if they are making any progress with fixing this bug? It would go a long way if they could at least put out an update to their customers!
We have two Ipad2's and we are now at the stage where we have no more than a 50/50 expectation that one of them will connect to our Router. We had no such problem at all before we upgraded to IOS 7. We have had about 2 months of this problem now.
A friend came to our house with a different brand of tablet recently and had no problems at all.
I have an IPhone that is still on 6.1.3 and I have no problem with that. I also have no trouble connecting my Kindle when I want to download a book.
We have tried every single suggestion seen on these forums, but they either do not work at all or, obviously, are only temporary or "single-session" solutions.
I concur with Undercover, 100%.

Nov 5, 2013 6:39 AM in response to dwaynebishopby SethCat21,I have the same problem with my iPad Mini. Ever since updating to iOS 7 it will drop the wifi signal at random times and the only temporary fix (works for a while but not longer than an hour) is to bring up command center and turn the wifi off, then back on. It doesn't last and you have to keep doing it, but at least it makes the iPad usable again.
I just wish Apple would've waited to release iOS 7. I don't care if they didn't release a new software update with the iPhone 5S, I'd rather have a working mostly bug-free software than this rushed product. Granted it is nice and eventually and hopefully the bugs will get worked out, it's still annoying.

Nov 6, 2013 4:29 PM in response to dwaynebishopby P024008,Same issue on my iPad2. Doesn't seem to be a problem on my iPhone 5 but my iPad is almost useless without wifi. Tried all the usual fixes but the wifi signal only lasts a couple of minutes and only if I put the device very close to my router. It doesn't hold the signal range like it used to before the ios7 update.
