i just upgraded my icloud backup plan to 10gb, and I am not receiving any of my emails. What can i do?

My icloud account expired from a complimentary 20gb back down to the 5gb. After I purchased the 10gb plan, I am not receiving any of my emails from the past 3 days. Help!
