Q: Blue line scanning iPhone screen

This reply might be too late...but here it is anyways. I had the same problem yesterday and I remember before I had this problem I was on the setting....it took me awhile to figure things out...but you need to go to setting...then general..accessibility...then go to switch control and turn off everything....

You don't have to reset everything...

Jason, you should update your message to include the solution provided by esterino. Takes just a moment to execute, and sounds like it resolves the situation without a time consuming and "scary" backup and restore.

Surely a simple action should be tried first, before the way more complicated B&R?

For me this occurred after updating to iOS 8.2, but I do recall investigating some of the newer Accessibility features recently so maybe I tripped a switch somewhere.
