Hi, after installing the new iOS on my two devices I registred a problem with iMessage. I'm using same Apple ID for both iPhones (4 and 5) and I started to get imessages on wrong devices. Is there a fix to get imessages to the right phones?
Go to Settings->Messages->Send Receive there you can select the correct number for each device. This will have to be done on both devices.

Hi I tried that, stopped using Apple ID on one of the devices completely a started to use only a phone number. Does that cut it too?
As long as each device is set up to use a different ".....can be reached at" it should work. As both devices will have different phone numbers I would use those.
Hi, Im trying to use both the different numbers to have a seperate imessage setting on the 2 different iphones, but its blocking one of my numbers out (its greyed out) so i cant select it and it doesnt have a check mark on it.

I have two phones (work phone and personal phone) which operate off of my one account but my personal messages are going to my work phone and my work phone is recieving all messages. I cant 'uncheck' the work phone number as it is greyed out.
This wasnt an issue until the iOS 7 updates. I've got 4 devices linked to this account and this is the first time I've had this issue of not being able to unselect a device.

This worked perfectly after updating to 9.0.2. I was getting personal texts on my work phone and vice versa. Thanks for clarifying where and how to change the settings; I'd been searching in the icloud settings with no luck. Never occurred to me to try the messaging settings directly 🙂
