Bluetooth Keyboard Causing Sluggishness

Hi. I know this will sound crazy — or maybe not, maybe you have the same problem — but my keyboard is causing some drag. Meaning my mouse reaction time and window dragging is stuttery and sluggish when I have my keyboard turned on (and connected) but when I turn it off or just disconnect it from bluetooth all seems well. Any ideas?
