Someone at Apple disabled my Apple ID and told me to create a new one. So I did and tried to add it to my iPhone 4S when I finally figured out how to change it and change my iCloud it deleted ALL of my contacts.....I am annoyed. HOW DO I GET THEM BACK?.. I never even asked them to disable my account....they just did it and told me after the fact.
No one at Apple disabled your Apple ID. They don't have that capability.
As far as losing your Contacts on your phone? That's because you told it to do that. When you deleted the iCloud Account on the phone, it gives you a prompt, asking if you want to delete the information from the phone. You clicked 'Yes'.
YOU deleted your contacts.
Get your original Apple ID re-enabled, and then recover from the original iCloud backup?

Oct 4, 2013 5:23 PM in response to kmlucybby Alesoreus Primus,★HelpfulI may have good news, if u simply deleted the account from the iphone then ur icloud account is intact, simply tap on the apple id and log out, log back in with ur old apple id and ur contacts should come back.
If u need any info as far as ur old apple id is concerned go to expresslaneapple.com and chat itunes through there to see if it can be re-enabled. If u feel that that wont work for u, u should call 1800-apl-care and have an adviser chat itunes for u to see if re-enabling the account is possible.

Oct 4, 2013 5:36 PM in response to TJBUSMC1973by kmlucyb,I have emails teeling me they disbaled my account and I cannot update any apps or anything anymore under that Apple ID so someone somewhere obviously has the power to disable my account.
As far as deleting my contacts I am aware that I did that...What I said was that my acocunt was disbaled and when I tried to add another one my contacts were deleted. Signing back in with my old Apple ID brought my contacts back.
Is there a way to sign in with my new ID and still keep my contacts?
Thanks for all the help!

Oct 4, 2013 5:48 PM in response to kmlucybby TJBUSMC1973,Your Apple ID may have been disabled for SECURITY REASONS. They don't just disable just because.
Instead of making a new ID, just get your old Apple ID re-enabled.
Contact Apple again, ask for Account Security, and explain that your Apple ID was disabled
Or
Go to https://getsupport.apple.com
(If you see a message that says 'There are no products registered to this Apple ID, simply click on 'See all products and services')
Choose 'More Products & Services', then 'Apple ID'.
A new page will open.
Choose 'iTunes Store, App Store or Mac App Store', then 'Disabled Apple ID'.
Fill out the 'Please tell us more about the issue' box.
Click the blue 'Continue' button.
Choose your country.
Select the contact option that suits your needs best.

Oct 4, 2013 6:22 PM in response to kmlucybby Alesoreus Primus,No, there is no way to get ur old contacts with a new apple id. Is there any way u can transfer ur contacts to ur simm card if u have 1 through ur carrier? And certanly contact apple, simply cause ur account was disabled it doesnt mean that it was terminated.

Dec 20, 2014 10:24 AM in response to kmlucybby MarkT70,Having just changed my Apple ID to separate myself from my son who was sharing my ID I can tell you how to handle this in IOS7. I went to the Apple web site and established my new ID.
I followed the advice on this support page to change my Apple ID Change your Apple ID - Apple Support
I then followed the advice on this page to update the ID on my device Sign in with a different Apple ID on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
IMPORTANT!!!! When you delete your iCloud for your old Apple ID off your phone you will lose all your documents that are in the cloud but not your contacts that are out in the cloud. Also, before following the directions on the"Sign in with a Different Account" page to delete the iCloud Apple ID first turn off iCloud sync on each item individually. When you turn off the sync it will ask you if you want to keep the data on your phone. Yes you do want this. After turning off sync individually Delete the iCloud account for the old Apple ID. Then when you then sign into iCloud with your new Apple ID select the Merge option and it will upload all your contacts and data to the iCloud account for your new Apple ID.
If you simply Delete your iCloud account it will delete all your contacts off your phone. If you delete iCloud without first turning sync off Contacts and your contacts are then deleted off your phone, don't worry. Simply log back into iCloud with your old account and your contacts will be restored. Then you can turn off the sync on all items, Delete the old account from iCloud, sign in with the new apple Id, select Merge iPhone data. So it puts your contacts and data from your phone into your new iCloud account.
